Paul is, first and foremost, a specialist in home lawn care. With more than a decade of experience under his belt, Paul got his start working for a residential gardening business and has since worked with a variety of turf around the world.
He now manages a consultancy business in the groundscare industry and dedicates his remaining time to providing expert industry coverage to help homeowners spend their money wisely on the best lawn care solutions.
Helen Poole

Helen is an expert copywriter with degrees in Journalism and Creative Writing, and a keen gardener in her spare time. She works closely with Paul to research and produce in-depth guides and articles and is driven by her passion to help The Turf Doctor readers to make the best spending choices with their hard-earned money.
Bradley Tennant

Bradley Tennant is a qualified gardener and greenkeeper with more than 10 years of experience in the field. He has a NVQ level 3 Horticulture qualification and Level 5 Professional Diploma in Turf Surface Management. Bradley currently works as a grounds team member at Wembley Stadium, as well as performing pitch checks around the country on behalf of the FA.
Bradley fact-checks our articles to ensure we're delivering accurate, science-backed information. He also produces the majority of our video review content.
